Senior Industrial Designer - Team Lead
In the Team Lead role within Avient's Industrial Design and Engineering consulting group, my job was to support and empower the design team to deliver the highest quality deliverables, meet customer deadlines and maintain a high level of communication both internally and externally. As a result of these efforts, many process improvements were implemented and revenue generated by this team doubled during this time frame.
I also assisted the global director on strategic design initiatives, utilizing design thinking to impact the design team, Avient, and our valued customers with my unique approach to problem-solving.
2015 - 2018
Senior Industrial Designer
As a Senior Industrial Designer in the IQ Design Labs team, I was involved in many new product development projects from the early concept stage through commercialization and implementation. This work spanned across many different industries including Automotive, Consumer Goods, Industrial Equipment, Medical Devices, Shooting Sports, Powersports, and more. My design/project management work resulted in several large-scale strategic partnerships between Avient and its key customers.
